If the fire alarm in your premises is not subject to regular servicing and inspection, it does not comply with BS5839-1:2002.
To ensure your fire alarm system is fully functional at all times we recommend that you enter into a maintenance agreement with Acewell. Commercial fire alarm systems should be inspected two to four times a year, depending on risk.
In practice, our default is to visit your premises twice a year at six montly intervals. At the first visit, a full inspection and service is carried out, whilst the second inspection is ‘periodic’ and is far less in depth.
